Manufacturing Process: Galvanization. A cold-rolled (or hot-rolled) steel sheet is passed continuously through a bath of molten zinc (Hot-Dip Galvanizing), which metallurgically bonds to the steel. Alternatively, zinc is applied via an electrical current (Electrogalvanizing).
Galvanizing processes contain Hot dip galvanizing, Electro galvanizing, and Mechanical galvanizing, to achieve different properties and different applications.
